Hinesville, GA Jeannette Davidson Pearson, 78, passed away Tuesday at her home under the care of hospice. Born July 24, 1935, in Lost Creek, Hazard, KY, she worked at Winn Army Community Hospital on Fort Stewart for ten years and was self-employed in Real Estate Holdings and Rentals for over fifty years. She was a member of Live Oak Church of God in Hinesville and attended Faith Baptist Church in Miamisburg, OH. She was predeceased by her first husband, Fred Davidson; her parents, Kelly and Rachel Noble; sister, Alma Moore; and brother, Bill Noble. She is survived by her husband, Delmer R. Pearson of Germantown, OH; daughters, Carol Davidson Collingsworth (Paul) of Ludowici and Cheryl Davidson Burriss (Tom) of Hinesville; stepsons, Randall Pearson (Karen) of Eaton, OH, and Russell Pearson of Germantown, OH; sisters, Margaret Pugh, Faye Reed, and Margie Weeks, all of Ohio; grandchildren, Christopher Barrington, Timothy Barrington, Sara Miller Evans, Andy Burriss, and Benjamin Burriss; step-grandchildren, Tracy Burriss, Michelle Burriss Woodard, Charles Burriss, David Burriss, Clint Pearson, Katherine Pearson Brock , Austin Pearson, Max Pearson and Laci Pearson Roy; eleven great-grandchildren, three step-great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandson. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Compass Church of God in Ludowici with Reverends David Holton and Alan Darsey officiating. Burial will be in Hinesville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be grandsons Chris and Tim Barrington, Charles, Andy and Ben Burriss, and Austin Pearson. Honorary pallbearers will be the Senior Adults Sunday School Classes of Compass Worship Center and Live Oak Church of God. Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
