Richmond Hill Michael Stefanick, 56, lost his courageous two year battle with Lou Gehrigs Disease (ALS) Wednesday, July 16, 2014. Mike was passionate about life, family, hunting and fishing. He humbly held the Georgia state record for catching the largest Wahoo. He never met a stranger. IF he gave you a hard time, then you knew you could call him friend. Survivors include his wife, Leigh Stefanick; daughter, Blake Stefanick; son, Kyle Stefanick; mother, Jean Stefanick; sister, Julie Kimbrel; and niece, Amber Kimbrel. The family would like to thank his caregivers Bernice, Kee and Diane for the compassion and love they have shown to Mike during his illness. Visitation will be held Thursday, July 17, 2014 beginning at 5:30 with a celebration of life service to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel.
