Paul R Pope

Glennville Paul R. Pope, 77, died Saturday at Camellia Health and Rehab in Claxton. A native of New Berlin, NY, he lived in Midway and Glennville for 45 years. He was retired from the auto body repair business, a veteran of the US ARMY and a Baptist. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Doris H. Pope of Glennville; son, Stanley Pope of Midway; daughter, Theresa Pope of Midway; brother, Frederick Z. Pope of New Berlin, NY; two grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. Visitation will be 12:00-1pm Wednesday, July 30, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel in Hinesville. Memorial Service will follow at 1:00pm in the chapel with Rev. Winston Beasley officiating.
