Wanda Jo Hensley

Wanda Jo Hensley, age 75, passed away Thursday, August 28, 2014, at Liberty Regional Hospital in Hinesville, GA. A native of Maryville, TN, she was a resident of Hinesville for the past 40 years. She was born to the late Glenn and Stellar Miller on November 16, 1938. She was a proud employee of the Fort Stewart Post Exchange (AAFES) for over 19 years. Wanda Jo was grounded in her faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and a member of Peck's Memorial United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, SGM (Ret) Raymond Wayne Hensley. Surviving are her loving brother Dennis Ray Miller and his wife Doreen of Wellington FL; three sons, Brian W. Hensley and wife Bernice of Marion, NC, Bobby J. Hensley and wife Angela of Hinesville, GA, and COL (Ret, USA) Barry R. Hensley and wife Angie of Roswell, GA; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Graveside funeral services will be at 9 am on Monday at Oglethorpe Memorial Park in Hinesville, GA. Pallbearers will include grandsons Joshua W. Hensley, Johnathan B. Hensley, Raymond W. Hensley, Jacob K. Hensley, Austin L. Hensley, and Kelly Neighoff. Honorary Pallbearers will be Caleb P. Hensley and Matthew L. Fussell.
