Hinesville Helga Hindle, 72, died on Friday, November 28, 2014, at home. Born April 7, 1942, she grew up in Cadolzburg, Germany, and lived in Hinesville since 1976. She was retired from the Liberty County Board of Education following 30 years of service as a school bus driver. Mrs. Hindle was also retired from J.C. Penney and TG&Y of Hinesville. She was a volunteer at Woodland Health Care and enjoyed helping others. An avid gardener and dog lover, she was a member of the Red Hat Society Southern Smiles chapter, and loved traveling with friends and family. She is survived by her daughters, Marion Beck Adams of Midway, Georgia, Petra Matute of Stafford, Virginia, and Anita Moreland of Port St. Lucie, Florida; one sister, Christa Wst of Frth, Germany; three grandchildren, Candace Moreland, Charlie Moreland, III, and Justin Matute; and four great-grandchildren, Jasper Moreland, Anabel Moreland, Allie Moreland, and Mariah Rogers. Visitation will be 5-6 p.m. Wednesday, December 3, 2014, with a Memorial Service to follow at 6 p.m., at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Liberty County Humane Society, 279 Briarwood Cir, Hinesville, GA 31313. Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
