Richmond Hill James E. Proman (Wally), 61, died Wednesday, January 28, 2015 under the care of Hospice Savannah after a short illness. He lived most of his life in Richmond Hill and then Pembroke the past 14 years. He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, an outdoorsman, enjoyed being in the boat and mud bogging. He never met a stranger. James was a very avid Dale Earnhardt fan. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Proman and his sister, Nancy Proman Collins. Surviving family include children, Melanie Morrison (Brian) of Richmond Hill, Tommy L. Proman (Rachel) of Pooler, and Michael Shane Proman (Erin) of Savannah; father, James S. Proman of Pembroke; siblings, Linda Blankenship (Mike) of Richmond Hill, Ronnie Proman (Tammy) of Pembroke, Judy Goggins (Larry) of Pembroke, Ricky Proman (Kandi) of Richmond Hill and Donnie Proman of Savannah; four grandchildren, Seth, Richie, Lyla and Trenton; niece and nephews, Tony, Christopher, Jimmy, Keith, Curtis, Gary and Harleigh; and many other loved family members. Visitation will be Friday, January 30, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel with burial to follow at Daniel Baptist Cemetery.
