Lucille McDonald Morris, 83, passed away peacefully on March 15, 2015 at her home in North Miami Beach, FL. She was born in Long County, GA, and lived most of her life in the Savannah/Hinesville area and Miami, FL. She loved her family and serving her customers at Publix, where she was a cashier and affectionately known as 'Lucy'. She is pre-deceased by her mother, Mattie Lou McDonald; her father, Ralph Leonard McDonald; and a son, Ralph Morris. Survivors include two sons, Eddie Morris and William Morris; a brother, Arthur McDonald; a sister, Sue Nell Cottrell; a grandson, Ralph Morris, Jr.; a granddaughter, Rhonda Morris-Wojcicki; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Andy Pusser officiating. Burial will be in Piggot Branch Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ralph Morris, Jr., Scott Wojcicki, Kyle Strick, Jay McDonald, Michael McDonald, and Christopher Hernandez. Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
