Linda DeLoach Ashdown

Ludowici Linda DeLoach Ashdown, 68, died Thursday at her residence after a short illness. She was a native of Liberty County and worked for Denmark Oil Company, Fort Stewart Laundromat, and GEO Vista Credit Union. She was Baptist by faith. She was predeceased by two husbands, James Ashdown and Marvin Caldwell. Survivors include her sons, James Ashdown (Samantha) of Midway and Kenny Ashdown (Barbie) of Colonial Beach, VA; brother, Gerald DeLoach (Ann) of Flemington; eleven grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Visitation will be 1:00-3:00 p.m., Monday, April 6, 2015, at Hinesville First United Methodist Church. Funeral Services will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the church with Rev. Travis Cowart and Rev. Dale Thornton officiating. Burial will be in Hinesville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Christopher Ashdown, James R. Ashdown, Shane Glasco, Zachary Glasco, Ryan Ashdown and Doug DeLoach. Honorary pallbearers will be all Law Enforcement and Fire Department personnel.
