Diane Edmonds, 62, died Thursday, April 16, 2015, at Hospice Savannah after a short illness surrounded by her family. She has lived in Waynesboro for the past 35 years. She was of the Baptist faith. She loved flowers, yard sales, traveling and her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Frances Barnett. Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Tom Edmonds of Waynesboro; children, Alicia Jones (Lloyd) of Rincon and Bobby Edmonds (Julie) of Castro Valley, CA; sister, Frances Browning (Terry) of Fleming; grandchildren, Brandon Hayes (Reanna), Mitchell Hayes, Dale Mathes, Markus Mathes, Nathan Edmonds, and Owen Edmonds; great-grandchildren, John Hayes, Dawson Hayes, and Alexis Hayes; special nephew and niece, Wayne and Stacy Browning (Leah, Madi, and Trey); cousins, Paula and Bubba Crowley; and other family members. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Saturday, April 18, 2015, at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Funeral service will be 1:30 p.m., Sunday, April 19, 2015, at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel with burial to follow in Mt. Olivet Church Cemetery in Fleming.
