Nora Kathleen Parker

Nora Howard Parker, 81, died Saturday at her residence under the care of Pruitt Hospice Care.

A native of McIntosh County, she lived in Midway for forty years and was a member of Crescent Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Cecil Parker.

She is survived by her daughter, Melba Singleton (William); son, David Parker of Pooler; sister, Maureen Sequi of Waynesville; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Monday, November 30, 2015 at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel.  Funeral services will begin at 1:00 Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel with Rev Cade Bazemore and Jerry Hewitt officiating.  Burial will be in Dorchester Cemetery.
