Jessy Florez

Jessy Florez, 44, died Sunday from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Hinesville. 

Born in New Jersey, he moved to Davie, Florida, in 1980.  He was a resident of Ludowici for a year and was employed at Southeast Auto in Hinesville.  He was a member of the Catholic Church.

He is survived by his wife, Natasha Scalzo Florez, of Ludowici; daughters, Ashley Florez of Fort Walton Beach, FL, and Alexis Florez of Ludowici; stepsons, Michael Scalzo of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Dimitri Scalzo (US NAVY) of Pensacola, FL, Neil Rogers, Steven Rogers, and Matthew Rogers of Ludowici; father, Jesus Florez (Maria) of Port St. Lucie, FL; mother, Lucia Navarrete (Efrain) of Pembroke Pines, FL,; brothers, Jerry Florez of Palm Coast, FL, and John Florez of Portsmouth, VA.

Visitation will be 6-7 p.m., Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel.  A Memorial Service will follow at 7 p.m. with Deacon Jairo Florez officiating.
