Marco Antonio Belgio

Marco Antonio Belgio, 40, passed from this earth on the evening of December 28, 2015.

Born October 9, 1975, to Louis and Sonia Belgio in Atlanta, Georgia, Marco graduated from Saint Thomas More Catholic School in Decatur and later earned his Georgia Real Estate Appraiser's License while working with his father's surveying company.

Marco will always be remembered for his courage through difficult times and we know he is finally at rest and without pain.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Sonia Maria Belgio, and grandmother, Kathleen B. Lusk.

He is survived by his father, Louis “Chip” Belgio (and stepmother, Debbie) of Sunbury; brother, Ricky Belgio of Morrow, Georgia; and step-grandfather, James G. Lusk of Sunbury.

Services will be 2-4pm, Saturday, January 9, 2016, at the Dorchester School on Islands Highway in Midway. Visitation will be from 2-3pm and following the service.  The Memorial Service will begin at 3pm with Rev. Shirley Middleton officiating and Mr. Tommy Davis providing the music. All friends and family are cordially invited to attend.  Marco’s family would like to meet and express their gratitude for those who knew him. 

The family suggests memorial donations to NAMI of Savannah, 7805 Waters Ave., Suite 2B, Savannah, Georgia, 31406, in lieu of flowers.
