Ann Elizabeth Stewart

Ann C. Stewart, 78, died peacefully at home Wednesday, January 20, 2016, while under the care of Georgia Hospice Care.

A native of Valdosta, she was a resident of Hinesville for 57 years.  She was retired from Liberty Regional Hospital, where she was the Food Service Supervisor for 28 years, and was a charter member of Hinesville Church of Christ. 

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Wayne C. Stewart of Hinesville; son, Wayne Craig Stewart (Beth) of Ft. Wright, KY; daughter, Lynn Bush (Ed) of Long Beach, CA; 4 grandsons, Alex Stewart, Austin Stewart, Matt Bush, and Thomas Bush; sister, Mary Stewart (Willis) of Hinesville; sister-in-law, Marion Copeland of Valdosta; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be 5:30-8:00 p.m., Friday, January 22, 2016, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel.  Funeral service will begin at 1:00 pm, Saturday, January 23, 2016, at Hinesville Church of Christ, 217 W. Court Street, Hinesville, with Wyman Stewart and Ed Bush officiating.  Burial will follow in Rye Patch Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Austin Stewart, Thomas Bush, Russell Stewart, Roland Stewart, Larry Stewart, and John Lee Story.
