Johnnie S. NeSmith, 103, died at home Sunday, August 7, 2016, surrounded by her family.
She lived in Hinesville for the past 54 years and was the oldest member of the Hinesville First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy NeSmith, and a great-grandson, Barrett Burnham.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Jack Shuman of Hinesville; grandchildren, MeLissa Green (Troy) of Ludowici, Andrea Burnham (Nathan) of Huntington Beach, CA; Josh Shuman (Lauren) of Hinesville; great-grandchildren, Shelby Phelps, Troy Green, Jr., Auron Shuman, Warner Burnham, Lincoln Shuman and Brennan Shuman.
Visitation will be 6-8pm, Wednesday, August 10, 2016, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11am, Thursday, August 11, 2016, at Hinesville First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Hinesville Cemetery.
Remembrances may be made to Hinesville First Baptist Church Building Fund or Piano Fund, 220 East Memorial Drive, Hinesville, Ga 31313.
