Wesley Clark Gould

Wesley C. Gould, 74, passed away Sunday, December 25, 2016, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah after a long illness.

Mr. Gould was a resident of Hinesville for the past 40 years.  He was retired from the United States Army after 20 years of service and worked several years as an instructor at TMP on Fort Stewart.  He loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

Survivors are his wife of 50 years, Donna Gould of Hinesville; 4 children, Missy Fields (Paul) of Hinesville, Mike Gould (Tanya) of Hinesville, Aaron Gould (Shauna) of Augusta, and Jennifer Cherney of Hinesville; 12 grandchildren, Jonathon Gould, Kaleigh Gould, Ryan Fields, Kalyn Fields, Johnny Cherney, Jamie Cherney, Elexis Keller, Aubrie Keller, Gabbriella Cherney, Lauren Gould, Audrey Gould, and Andrew Gould. 

A Memorial Service with Full Military Honors will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, December 30, 2016 at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel.  The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the American Legion Post 168, 1121 W Oglethorpe Hwy, Hinesville, GA 31313.
