Jewell Crowley

Jewell Crowley, 83, passed away Thursday July 27, 2017 at Ocala Regional Medical Center surrounded by her family.

She spent many years in Ocala, Florida before moving back to Portal. She was a member of Portal United Methodist Church. She loved to put up vegetables, canning and was a very good cook.

She is preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Kennedy, son, Ray H. Tucker, and husband Lewis “Junior” Crowley, Jr.

She is survived by her daughter Diane Smith (Virgil), son Jerry Tucker; son-in-law Charlie C Kennedy; grandchildren Chris Tucker (Rebecca), Lisa Noeller (Aaron), Charlie Kennedy Jr., John Kennedy (Rebecca), Kelly Tucker, Jason Tucker, Gerald Smith (Jennifer), Courtney Simon (Derek); Great- grandchildren Avery, Riley, Riddick, Erin, Anthony, Kaiden, Jayce, Landry, Ashley (Curt), Kim, Corey, Jeffery, Alleyna, Sierra, Abigail, Reagan, Stella, and Oliver; Great-Great-grandchild Oceann; two sisters Mabel Tucker and Bonnie Cowart; along with several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held 6-8:00pm Monday, July 31, 2017 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday August 1, 2017 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel with burial to follow at Mount Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery.
