Susan Beasley Wilkerson, 64, passed away at home Sunday, September 3, 2017.
After spending her younger years in Statesboro, she lived in Ludowici for the past 37 years and was an operator with Coastal Utilities for 35 years. She attended Live Oak Church of God. Susan enjoyed cooking and playing with her granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Phillip Wilkerson.
She is survived by her two daughters, Lisa Wilkerson and Lindsey Wilkerson, both of Ludowici; one grandchild, Michaela Wilkerson; mother, Lucille Black Young of Newington; sister, Sharon Love (Gordon) of Atlanta; brother, Jamie Beasley (Sue) of North Augusta; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 11am, Thursday, September 7, 2017, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Burial will follow at 2pm in Bulloch Memorial Gardens in Statesboro.
