Lori Ann Maggard Stephens, 54, passed away Thursday, October 19, 2017, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah with her family by her side.
Born and raised in Hinesville, she lived in Meridian, MS, for 25 years before moving back to Hinesville two years ago. Lori was a member of First Assembly of Meridian and she loved to garden, cook, and spend time with her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Timothy Lee Stephens, and parents, Jimmy and Gean Maggard.
She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Duane Stephens; children, Danny Stephens (Clara) of Ludowici, and Michele Shurum (Jonathon) of Midway; four grandchildren, Daniel, Destiny, Dakota, and Jon Luke; and several other family members.
A memorial Service will be held at 11 am, Monday, October 23, 2017, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. The family will receive visitors for one-half hour before the service.
