Christiane Waldstädt Diggs, 59, passed away Friday, March 16, 2018, at Candler Hospital in Savannah.
Born in Germany on March 20, 1958, to Werner and Lucia Waldstädt, she moved to the United States in 1994. She worked at Button Gwinnett Elementary School and Snelson Golden Middle School. She loved doing crafts and going to Car Club and Bike Club events. She was Catholic.
She was preceded by her dear friend, Stevie, and grandson, Antonio Ashe.
She is survived by her children, Tatjana Coleman of Frankfurt, Germany, Lucia Diggs of Atlanta, and John Diggs of Brooklet; parents, Werner and Lucia Waldstädt of Germany; siblings, Bernd Waldstädt and Manfret Waldstädt of Germany; grandson, Jakel Stump, five other grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be held at noon, Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel with Father Philip Tah officiating. Chris will be laid to rest in Germany.
