Kathy Cedola, 79, passed away peacefully at home Monday, March 19, 2018, after a short illness.
Born in Marianna, Florida, she was a resident of Hinesville for 38 years. Mrs. Cedola was a homemaker, a devoted wife to her husband of 47 years, the late Nicholas Cedola, and dedicated mother to seven children, thirteen grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband.
She is survived by her children, Bert Cedola, Kathy Briglio, Steve Cedola, Nick Cedola, Vickie Cedola-King, Sandy Cedola-Madewell, and Tony Cedola; the apple of her eye, Tony “Pooky” Cedola; thirteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, March 23, 2018, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 24, 2018, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Burial will be in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Monday, March 26, 2018, at 10 am.
