Edward L Patterson, Jr.

Edward Lewis Patterson Jr, age 41, of Hinesville, GA, died of natural causes on March 29, 2018.  

Edward is survived by his wife of 18 years, Lou; his beautiful daughters, Ivy and Amber; his sister, Sherry L. Blotter; and numerous in-laws.  He is preceded in death by his father Edward Lewis Patterson Sr. and his mother Hui Cha Han.

Ed, as he was affectionately known by family and friends, was a military child born in Fort Hood, Texas, in 1976, who traveled to many places with his military family before settling here in Hinesville, GA.   In 1994, Ed graduated High School locally from Bradwell Institute. Ed accepted a position where he worked retail in both the local Winn Dixie and Wal Mart stores until his untimely passing.

Ed was a great family man and example of a loving father, devoted husband, little brother and a great friend to many in the community here and far away.  Ed was a very sociable person and had many active interests and talents to do whatever he chose, primarily in musical instruments, writing and recording music. Creativity flowed through him:  He dabbled in electronics, social media, wood working, and collecting items from the movie, Star Wars.  He enjoyed watching football as a Dallas Cowboys fan.

Ed will always be remembered as a larger than life, kind, gentle, and soft-spoken person who was unassuming, unselfish, always giving, and forgiving.

Funeral Services will be private.
