David Christopher Harvey

David Christopher Harvey "Chris", 35, passed away on Monday, March 12, 2018 at home. He was a born in Savannah, GA and has lived most of his life in Richmond Hill, GA.  He was a 2000 graduate of Richmond Hill High School. Christopher and his dad had a very close relationship and were best friends. Christopher started working with his dad at age 10 in the family business, L & H Welding & Fabrication, and he became the shop supervisor. He and his dad were hand in hand in the Outlaw Drag Racing Series, he was very well respected in his drag racing class and won a world championship in the Oyster Racing Series. He is survived by his daughter, Haley Nicole Harvey; father, David Bruce Harvey (Lucy); mother, Pamela Kidd; sister, Tabitha Elisabeth O’Quinn; brother, Wade Lee Harvey; companion Heather Marie Shurling; one niece, three nephews, and numerous aunts and uncles. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 16, 2018 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel and funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel with burial to follow at Richmond Hill First Baptist Church Cemetery in Richmond Hill, GA.
