Margie Gill

Richmond Hill Margie Bashlor Gill, 66, passed away on December 5, 2017, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was cared for by Hospice of Savannah and by loving family and friends. She was a life-long resident of Richmond Hill. She was a member of The First Baptist Church of Richmond Hill. Margie was a valued employee at Kroger for 35 years and she was blessed with a great work family to show their support. She is proceeded in death by her husband of 41 years, Wayne; her parents Joseph and Christine; and her sister, Betty Sills. She is survived by one daughter, Stacy Donovan (Bob); one grandson, Chase Gill; three sisters, Peggy Cox of Richmond Hill, Linda Bashlor (Mann) of Richmond Hill and Deanie Young (Jimmy) of Metter; cherished by many nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 8, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home in Richmond Hill with the funeral service following at 2 p.m. A graveside service will be held at The First Baptist Cemetery in Richmond Hill. In lieu of flowers remembrances can be made to The American Cancer Society and Hospice of Savannah.
