Mary Wallette Proman (November 2, 1948 – November 10, 2017) passed away at home Friday under care of Hospice Savannah after a long battle with colon cancer. She was a lifelong resident of Richmond Hill and a devoted wife, mother, and Nana. She loved to craft, shop, travel, cook, and spend time with family and friends. She was a member of Daniel Baptist Church. She is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Wilkie; son, Jerome (Dee); daughter, Traci Arnsdorff (Hinton); grandchildren, April and Bradley; great-grandchildren, Emilie, Christopher, and Austin; great-great-grandchildren, Avery and Bentley; sisters, Juanita Henderson and Clarice Yarbrough; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 5-7 pm, Sunday, November 12, 2017, at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Funeral Services will begin at 11 am, Monday, November 13, 2017, at Daniel Baptist Church. Mrs. Proman will lie in state for one-half hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Daniel Baptist Church Cemetery.
