Judy K Jones

Richmond Hill Judy K. Rabbitt Jones, 70, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017, at St. Joseph’s Hospital surrounded by her family. Judy was born in Wisconsin, but, was raised in Richmond Hill. She was a graduate of Richmond Hill High School where she was captain of the basketball team and Miss Richmond Hill. While her husband served our country, she volunteered her time by chairing and serving multiple military organizations. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Judy was the glue that held her large family together. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Phillip Jones; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Barry Humrich of Richmond Hill and Angella and Jimmie Williams of Woodbridge, VA; one brother, Darryl G. Rabbitt (Doris) of Savannah; one sister, Linda Litaker of Jacksonville, FL; four grandchildren, Justin Humrich, Zachariah Humrich, Ashton Williams, and Parker Williams; a plethora nieces and nephews and all of R.W. and Lillian Jones family. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the 7th-floor nurses and PCT’s at St. Joseph’s Hospital. A visitation will be held at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel on Thursday, July 13, 2017, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel on Friday, July 14, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. The burial service will follow in Burnt Church Cemetery.
