Tammie Phillips

Tammie Phillips of Savannah, Georgia, passed away June 13th, 2017. A native of Savannah, she was the daughter of Elese H. Brown and Mary Blanche Lee Brown.  She was a member of Wildwood United Methodist Church most of her life and was also an accomplished pianist.  She was a devoted mother and sister.  Her brother, Timothy E. Brown, preceded her in death.  She is survived by her sons, Allen Devereaux (Cherry) and Christopher Phillips, and her sisters, Lucy B. Roberts and Mary Lana Castro.  Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Thursday, June 15, 2017, at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel.  Funeral Services will begin at 11 am, Friday, June 16, 2017, Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel with Reverend Grover Bell officiating.  Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. in Harmony Methodist Church Cemetery in Glennville.Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel is in charge of arrangements.  Online condolences may be made at www.carterbryanchapel.com.
