Wallace J. Yarbrough, 65, died Sunday, February 7, 2016 surrounded by his family. He lived most of his life in Richmond Hill and was at Bethesda Boys Home in his youth. He was a Tug boat Captain for 40 years without any incidences. He was an avid camper, fisherman, survivalist and an amazing giver. His oldest granddaughter was the apple of his eye. He never met a stranger and always demanded a kiss on the cheek. He was preceded in death by his son Jerome Yarbrough and Grandson Baby Boy Smith. He is survived by two children; Edna House and Tiffany Smith, two step children; Michael and Paul Mallon, nine grandchildren, sister; Jeanette Haymans; brothers; Charles, Jottie, Eddie and Harry Yarbrough and Ricky O’Neal; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be 6-8:00 pm Tuesday, February 9, 2016, at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, February 10, 2016, at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel.
