Ardell Grace Hasenjaeger, 90, formerly of the Kankakee area, died Thursday, February 4, 2016 in Richmond Hill, GA. A memorial service will be held Thursday, February 11 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Savannah where she had been an active member in the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League, quilt making for Lutheran World Relief and the Over 50 group. The Rev. John Hopkins will officiate. Carter Funeral Homes of Richmond Hill, GA is coordinating the arrangements. A remembrance gathering for family and friends will be held in Illinois at a later date. Mrs. Hasenjaeger was born March 28, 1925 in La Crosse county Wisconsin to Carl and Gertrude Loging. She married Harris Hasenjaeger in Momence, IL October 8, 1944. He died July 16, 2009. She retired from Baker & Taylor in Momence in 1989 after 25 years of service. She is survived by four daughters and sons-in-law, Paula and Marvin Menke of Grant Park, IL, Kay and Vance Schuler of Richmond Hill, GA, Lana and Lee Theesfeld of Lafayette, IN, Vicki and Greg Rolf of Guyton, GA, one son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Kathleen Hasenjaeger of Bourbonnais, IL, ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, four sisters, Evelyn Coveyou of Chattanooga, TN, Dorothy Thompson of Crete, IL, Harriet Bohnert of Marshfield, WI, and Leona Hagen of Racine, WI and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Ann and several brothers and sisters.
