Cedric Dewayne Collins Jr (C.J.), six (6) years old, was granted his angel wings on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Memorial Health University Center. C.J. was born on November 20, 2009 in Savannah, Georgia. He was the son of Cedric Dewayne Collins Sr. and Kwanza Nicole Collins. He is survived by his two loving sisters, Jasmine Victoria Collins and Valencia Jayden Collins. C.J. was a loving child of God who was born to worship. He attended Southwest Elementary School, a place of serenity in which he loved with all his heart. His pride and joy was his church, family, friends and his little toys. He leaves behind many loved ones including his grandparents, Apostle Larry Pounds Sr.; Pastor Shirley Pounds both of Richmond Hill, Georgia; Henry George Collins Sr. and Willie Mae Giles both of Yazoo, Mississippi; Great Grandmother, Annie Mae Felder, AKA “Big Momma” of McComb, Mississippi and a host of relatives, friends, and classmates whom he loved so dearly. He will be truly missed by his church family at Trinity Worship and Praise Ministries. All these special people too numerous to mention provided C.J. with love and dignity in his life and also in his death. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday, February 5, 2016 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Visitation will be one hour prior. Burial will follow at 3:00 pm in the Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Glennville.
