Jessy Florez

Jessy Florez, 44, died Sunday from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in Hinesville. Born in New Jersey, he moved to Davie, Florida, in 1980. He was a resident of Ludowici for a year and was employed at Southeast Auto in Hinesville. He was a member of the Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Natasha Scalzo Florez, of Ludowici; daughters, Ashley Florez of Fort Walton Beach, FL, and Alexis Florez of Ludowici; stepsons, Michael Scalzo of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Dimitri Scalzo (US NAVY) of Pensacola, FL, Neil Rogers, Steven Rogers, and Matthew Rogers of Ludowici; father, Jesus Florez (Maria) of Port St. Lucie, FL; mother, Lucia Navarrete (Efrain) of Pembroke Pines, FL,; brothers, Jerry Florez of Palm Coast, FL, and John Florez of Portsmouth, VA. Visitation will be 6-7 p.m., Tuesday, December 15, 2015, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. A Memorial Service will follow at 7 p.m. with Deacon Jairo Florez officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to assist his family with his final expenses, in care of Natasha Florez, 1221 Barrett Cemetery Road, Ludowici, GA 31316.
