Nora Howard Parker

Nora Howard Parker, 81, died Saturday at her residence under the care of Pruitt Hospice Care. A native of McIntosh County, she lived in Midway for forty years and was a member of Crescent Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman Cecil Parker. She is survived by her daughter, Melba Singleton (William); son, David Parker of Pooler; sister, Maureen Sequi of Waynesville; four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 Tuesday, December 1, 2015, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel with Rev Cade Bazemore and Jerry Hewitt officiating.  Burial will be in Dorchester Cemetery. Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
