Joseph Abraham White

Ellabell  SGT Joseph A. “Joe” White (United States Army), 29, died Tuesday, November 22, 2015 at his residence.  A native of Camden, South Carolina, Joe has been stationed at Fort Stewart since 2012.  He served in the United States Army in Afghanistan, Kuwait, and Korea. Survivors include his wife Ana White of Ellabell; children, Shamar and Kaliah White; father, David White of Camden, SC; mother, Daphne Williams of Sumter, SC; brothers, David White, Jr. of Texas and Curtis Jackson of Sumter; and a sister, Shanekea White of Sumter, SC. Visitation will be held 12:00 until 2:00 p.m. with a funeral service to begin at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 29, 2015 at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel.  Burial with Full Military Honors will follow at Oglethorpe Memorial Park.
