Doris S Lovell

Doris Shuman Lovell, 78, died Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Memorial Health University Medical Center surrounded by her family. She lived most of her life in Richmond Hill and was a member of Richmond Hill First Baptist Church. She recently retired from Richmond Hill Middle School after twenty-eight years. She enjoyed Christmas decorations, watching the Braves, and going to her grandchildren’s ballgames. Doris is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas A. Lovell and a grandson, Lawson James Lovell. Survivors include her children, Lance Lovell (Leanne) of Wynne, AR, Cheryl Lovell of Richmond Hill, and Chris Lovell (Ashley) of Richmond Hill; a sister, Margaret Widener (Wallis) of Richmond Hill; a brother, Ed Shuman of Springfield, GA; grandchildren, Hayden, Lathan, Luke, Jack, Lilly, and Landry; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2015 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 23, 2015 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Burial will be in Marion, AR.
