Joe Bennett Hall, born in 1943, passed from this life on October 8th, 2015. “Chub” to his friends and family, Bennett Hall was a US Air Force veteran, career long-haul trucker and loyal Son of the South. Friends and co-workers from Texas to Hinesville were an extension of his family and all remember him with a common expression, “He always had my back, no matter what.” He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. Predeceased by his son, Joey, he is survived by his daughter Leah Hall Martin (Chip), sons Allen and Rodney Hall, his brother W.L. Hall (Lynda), and grandchildren Elizabeth Carter (Simon), Ned Woolfolk, Emily Hall and Aly Henderson (Ty). A memorial service will be held Sunday, October 25, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at Midway United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends in the church social hall immediately following the service. Burial will be private in Midway United Methodist Church Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Smith, Hal Stafford, Jimmy McLean, Mike Sisneros, Louie Williamson, Wade Fillingame, and Fox Martin.
