Aubrey Wendell Todd, Jr.

Midway, GA Aubrey W. Todd, Jr., 73, died Tuesday, July 21, 2015, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah following a long illness. A native of Glennville, he was a resident of Midway for forty-five years and a member of Midway First Baptist Church.  He was a retired pipe insulator from the Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers Local 96 in Pooler.  Mr. Todd was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda J. Todd, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Wendell Todd, Sr. He is survived by his son, Chris Todd (Robyn), and daughter, April Todd Burriss (Charles), of Midway; sisters, Marilyn Higgins of Clifton Park, NY, and Judy Berganini of Parkersfield, KS; four grandchildren, Nathan and Madison Burriss, Kasie Burriss-Sexton, and Austin Long;  and one great grandson, Liam Sexton. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m., Friday, July 24, 2015, at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel.  Funeral Service will begin at 11 am on Saturday, July 25, 2015, at Midway First Baptist Church with Rev. J.C. Wright officiating.  Burial will follow in Dorchester Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Midway First Baptist Church Benevolence Fund, 10471 E. Oglethorpe Hwy., Midway, GA  31320.
