Bonita Ann Miracle

Richmond Hill Bonita Ann Miracle, 67, of Richmond Hill, Georgia passed away on May 24, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Savannah after a long illness. Boni was born in Leominster, Massachusetts, the daughter of Alfred and Legrina Secino. Boni thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family in Georgia and in her vacation home in the Poconos of PA. She was very active in military organizations including the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Disable American Veterans. She continued this interest all her life, guiding and helping America’s service men and women of all ages. Boni graduated from Fitchburg High School and Fitchburg State College in Massachusetts. She received her Master’s in Guidance and Counseling at Bowie (MD) State College. She joined the US Army during Vietnam and achieved the rank of Captain. Her civilian career found her working for the Dept. of the Army in charge of Guidance and Counseling at bases in New Jersey, Germany, Florida, and Georgia and cemented her love for honoring America and its military. In 1977, she married the love of her life, John Miracle of Pineville, KY. Boni is survived by her husband, John Miracle; her son, Joshua Miracle of Richmond Hill; her daughter, Angela and husband James Crackel of England; her father, Alfred age 102 years old; her sister, Keta and husband Steve Kaminsky of Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces, and many loving relatives and close friends. A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2015 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Richmond Hill, Georgia.
