Barbara Prewitt

Hinesville Barbara Prewitt, 76, died at home Tuesday, April 14, 2015, under the care of Hospice Advantage. Born in Dothan, Alabama, she was a resident of Hinesville for 37 years. She enjoyed bowling in the Fort Stewart Bowling Leagues, but mostly she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Delbert “Del” Prewitt, and her sons, Stephen D. Prewitt and Jeffrey D. Prewitt. She is survived by her sons, Roger Dale Prewitt of Reidsville, Mark Alan Prewitt of Hinesville, and Brian Prewitt of Pooler; brothers, Ralph Morris of West Virginia and Doyle Morris of Alabama; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A Graveside service will be held Friday, April 17, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at Oglethorpe Memorial Park, with Reverend Deacon Chad Chaffee officiating.
