James H Maloney

January 7, 1935 — December 9, 2014

Hinesville James H. Maloney, 79, died Monday at his residence in the care of Heartland Hospice after a long illness. A native of Erie, PA, he lived in Hinesville for the past 7 years.  He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and served 4 years during the Korean conflict.  He worked in the aerospace industry in California in space shuttle parts manufacturing.  He was catholic and a member of the American Legion Post #168 in Hinesville. He is survived by his wife, Joanna M. Maloney of Hinesville, three sons, Sean Maloney, Brian Maloney (Heather) and Brendan Maloney; daughters, Kellie (George) Haines, and Colleen Marich; eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren, all of California; three stepsons, James Sadler (his wife, Pam and their children Eden, Gracie, John and London), Dan Campasino and Don Campasino; two stepdaughters, Julie Sangermano and Joelle Hopkins; eight step-grandchildren and three step great-grandchildren. Visitation will be 11:00-11:45 am on Saturday at Allenhurst Presbyterian Church.  Funeral service will be at 12 noon with Rev. Ben Beasley officiating.  Burial with Military Honors will follow in the church cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be James Sadler, Dan Sadler, Glen Howard, Tim Guise, Eric Sperazza, and Earl Moody. Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
