Pamela Jean Hogan Copes, 63, died Thursday, November 13, 2014, at Candler Hospital in Savannah, Georgia, after a long illness. She lived most of her life in Northeast Louisiana and the past four years in Ludowici, Georgia. She retired from Glenwood Regional Hospital in West Monroe, LA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Winston Copes; her son, Michael Copes (Little Michael); her parents, Clarence and Evelyn Hogan; and her adopted son, Tommy Ray Bush. Survivors are her children, Renee Timm (Adrian), Donald Winston Copes, Jr. (Christy), James Wallace Copes (Katrina), Joseph Copes (Sheila), and Mary Bloch (Clayton); two sisters, Marsha Copes and Judy Hovis; one brother, Donald Hogan; eleven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at New Hope Church of God, 1436 Hwy 577, Pioneer, Louisiana 71266.
