CPL Timothy Brett Alexander deployed to heaven on Saturday, August 30, 2014, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He was born in Hinesville on October 31, 1990. He graduated from Bradwell Institute in 2009. He joined the United States Army in 2011 and was assigned as a Cavalry Scout at Ft. Carson, CO. On October 3, 2011, he married the former Jynessa MacPhail. He is survived by his wife Jynessa MacPhail Alexander and his son, Jaxson C. Alexander, both of Ft. Carson; mother, Steffanie Alexander; father, Thomas Ovitt; one brother, Joshua Driggers; two sisters, Brittney and Deborah Alexander, all of Hinesville; step-siblings, Whitman (Crystal) Ovitt of Allenhurst, GA, Alyssa Ovitt of Hinesville, Dana Vantrease of Ludowici, Paige (Brian) Joiner of Italy, and Yanina Ovitt of Panama. Friends will be received on Monday, Sept 8th between 6 and 8 pm at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel, 308 West Oglethorpe Blvd, Hinesville, GA. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 9, at Carter Funeral Home. A privaste burial will be in Oglethorpe Memorial Park in Hinesville. Full Military Honors will be rendered by the United States Army Honor Guard, Fort Stewart, Georgia. Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
