Hinesville Cornelia L. “Conny” D’Angelo, 57, died Friday at Liberty Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness. Born in Crailsheim, Germany, she was a resident of Hinesville for 30 years. She served in the US Air Force for 5 years, stationed at Eglin AFB, Florida, and was a certified nursing assistant at Winn Army Hospital for 28 years. She was of the catholic faith. She is survived by her daughter, Nicole Anne D’Angelo of Hinesville; parents, Stephen and Anneliese D’Angelo of Hinesville; brother and sister-in-law, Marvin and Liz D’Angelo of Seattle, WA; two nieces; and her beloved dogs, Bear and Patches. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, with Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m., at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Funeral Service will be held Wednesday at 11am at St. Stephen First Martyr Catholic Church with Father Adam Kasela officiating. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Conny’s memory to the Liberty Humane Shelter or St. Vincent DePaul Society.
