Marie S. Clark

Richmond Hill Marie S. Clark, 95, died Sunday, January 26, 2014 at Golden Living Center in Jesup. Mrs. Clark was a native of Bryan County and lived most of her life in Richmond Hill until moving to Jesup 12 years ago. She was a member of Daniel Baptist Church and was preceded in death by her husband Jesse W. Clark and son Jesse Edward (Chuck) Clark. She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Bennie and Susan Clark of Jesup; 6 grandchildren, Tony Clark, B.W. Clark, Charlotte Ann Clark, Sonja Clark Woods, Selena Clark Wingate, and Mason Clark; 12 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service Tuesday from 1:00 – 2:00 pm at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel in Hinesville. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Burial will follow in Richmond Hill First Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Mason Clark, Tony Clark, B.W. Clark, Wesley Woods, James Clark, and Roger Clark. Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel in Hinesville, GA, is in charge of arrangements.
