Bobbie Bomar

Savannah Bobbie Blankenship Bomar, 80, died Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at Memorial Health University Medical Center. She lived in East Point, GA most of her life and moved to Savannah in 1988 after the birth of her first grandchild. She attended First Baptist Church of the Islands and worked many years at CVS on Wilmington Island as a cashier. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Carole B. and Phillip D. McDaniel of Wilmington Island; and grandson David R. McDaniel. Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 18, 2013 at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel with a reception to follow in the Ford Room. Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel in charge of arrangements.
