Hinesville Lieselotte “Lotte” Brewer, 87, of Hinesville died August 10, 2013. Born March 8, 1926 in Munich, Germany, the only child of Georg and Wilhelmine “Julie” Hartenberger. She came to the United States in 1948 as a War Bride, became a proud U.S. Citizen in February 1964 and has lived in Hinesville since 1956. She worked many years at the Ft. Stewart Nursery. Her hobby was painting which led her to Martin’s Flower Shop where she worked and was the owner when she retired in 1993. She was a long time member of Flemington Presbyterian Church and Silver Liners at St. Stephen Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Brewer (US Army retired) and her parents. She is survived by daughters Margaret Brewer, Patricia (Carl) Speed all of Hinesville; a son Jim (Codye) Brewer of Hendersonville, TN; grandchildren Stephanie (Gary) Morrison, Aaron (Kristi), Will (Katie), Alexandra, Katherine, Dakota and Aubry Brewer; great grandchildren Hunter, Cole, and Presleigh Morrison, Caroline, Adam, Kaden and Peyton Brewer. Graveside services will be 10:00 am Monday August 12, 2013 at the Flemington Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Visitation will follow in the church social hall. Memorials may be made to Flemington Presbyterian Church, Gabriel House c/o Flemington Presbyterian Church or charity of donor’s choice. Carter Funeral Oglethorpe Chapel in charge of arrangements.
