Hinesville Barry Lee Davis Jr. 43 died Monday, July 22, 2013at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer under the care of Gentivia Hospice. He was a native of Roaring Spring, PA. He has lived for the past 17 years in Hinesville, GA. He served for 10 years in the United States Army. Barry obtained the rank of sergeant and served in the Gulf War. He was employed with Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, GA for 5 years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church Chancellor Choir and a member of the Jack Waller Sunday School Class. He was a member of the American Legion. Survivors his wife Theresa S. Davis of Hinesville, 1 daughter Heather Davis of Tyrone, PA; 2 step daughters Tara Blanchard of Pittston, PA, and Brandy Donelson of Manassas, VA; Mother Cara L. Rinker of Huntingdon, PA; Father Barry L. Davis, Sr of Duncansville, PA; 1 brother William P. Davis of Alexander, PA ; 6 Grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday July 25, 2013 at 6:00 P.M. to 8:00P.M. at Carter Funeral Home . The Funeral Services will be held at Carter Funeral Home on Friday July 26, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Dr. Rich Wright and Reverend Doug Force.
