Angela (Sue Sue) Walker

Fleming Angela (Sue Sue) Bates Walker, 44, died in Telfair County Thursday, June 20, 2013 after a short illness. She was of Baptist faith and has lived in Fleming most of her life. Survivors include her son, Richard Gareth Walker of Midway, a daughter, Kaitlyn Walker of Fleming; a granddaughter, Lillie Boston of Midway; her mother, Lillie Bates of Midway; a sister, Derreline Carter of Hinesville; six brothers, Richard Bates (Shella) of Jacksonvile, Fl, Rex Bates (Peggy) of Midway, Arthur Bates (Lisa) of Charlotte, NC, Merle Bates of Springfield, Dana Bates (Michelle) of Ludowici, and William Bates (Susan) of Fleming. Visitation will be held from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. with a memorial service beginning at 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 24, 2013 at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel.
