Michael D. Shaeffer, 56, died Friday, May 31, 2013 at home. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was employed at P&O Machines. Survived by his wife Bessie Shaeffer; children Michael Shaeffer Jr., Tonya Martell, Tommy Shaeffer, and Sean Shaeffer; mother Phyllis Shaeffer; sister Laurel Bond, brothers Paul and Dainel Shaeffer; 12 Grandchildren; stepdaughter Melissa Tilley; caring loving friend Evelyn Daniels. Memorial Service will be 11:00am June 11, 2013 at Wildwood Methodist Church in Savannah.
