Dorothy Donovan

Richmond Hill Dorothy (Dottie) Donovan, 75, went to be with her Lord Friday, May 10, 2013 after a long illness. She has been a life long resident of Richmond Hill and attended local schools. Dottie is preceded in death by her husband, Joe Donovan; her parents, Earl and Dorothy Shepard; and brother, Billy Shepard. Survivors include three sons, Dale, Johnny, and Jerry Swafford and their families; and a sister, Mildred (Smitty) Hughes of Richmond Hill. Visitation will be Saturday, May 11, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. at Carter Funeral Home Bryan Chapel. A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Oglethorpe Memorial Park in Hinesville. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Coastal Manor and Bryan County Health and Rehab staff for the loving care of Mrs. Donovan.
