Tommie Barnett Bottoms

Midway Tommie Barnett Bottoms, 60, died peacefully Friday, May 3, 2013 at Candler Hospital in Savannah. She was a native of Savannah and lived all of her life in Midway. She was a Baptist and worked 20 years at the Coastal Courier. She is survived by her husband John Bottoms of Midway; daughter Amanda Propes of Midway; 2 sons Thomas Bottoms of Sanford, NC and Matthew Bottoms of Guyton; and 9 grandchildren. Visitation will be 1:00 pm- 3:00 pm Monday, May 6, 2013 at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel with the funeral service following at 3:00 pm in the chapel with Rev. Josh May officiating. Burial will take place in Mt. Olivet United Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the family 4275 Islands Highway Midway, GA 31320.
