Hinesville, Lawrence “Buddy” Wilbur Caines, 66, died Sunday, April 21, 2013 at Savannah Hospice after a long illness. He was a native of Liberty County and a charter member of the First Presbyterian Church of Hinesville. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Marjorie Caines and brother, Billy Caines. He is survived by his twin sister, Laurie Wilma Padgett of Hinesville; and sisters, Jean Hartwell (John) of Little River, SC, and Carol Caines of Beaumont, TX; and several loving nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 23, 2013 with visitation one hour prior to service at Carter Funeral Home Oglethorpe Chapel. Burial will follow in the Hinesville Cemetery.
